Twenty years on the tools

I started laying brick at seventeen. Twenty years on, I’ve worked all over Australia and a few jobs overseas. Now I’m home in Darwin.

I run a small crew working across Greater Darwin, Palmerston, and the rural and remote Top End. Cert III in Bricklaying and Blocklaying. NT-registered. Fully insured. I take on new builds, extensions, renovations, and architectural feature work.

  • How much will it cost?
    Every job is different. Block type, height, footings, finish and access all change the number. I price line-by-line after a free site visit. No ballparks over the phone, they're never accurate.
  • Do you do cyclone-rated block work?
    Yes. Core-filled, reinforced block to engineer specification. Category C and D wind ratings. I work with your engineer or bring one in.
  • Can you build curves and architectural features?
    Yes. Free-hand curves, carved column detail, feature walls, sandstone. The harder the job, the more I want it. Send through what you've got.
  • Will you work outside Darwin and Palmerston?
    Yes. Coolalinga, Howard Springs, Humpty Doo, Berry Springs, and the rural and remote blocks. Further afield case-by-case.
  • Can you work to an architect's spec?
    Yes. I've worked with architects and designers across Australia. Send the spec. I'll cost it line-by-line and flag any buildability issues.
  • Is there a deposit?
    20% deposit on jobs over $5,000. Balance progress-claimed against milestones. Smaller jobs payable on completion. Receipts every step.
